New Orleans
Project Homecoming
A ministry of PSL Recovery in partnership with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
The Presbytery of South Louisiana’s Project Homecoming is part of an alliance of all faith-based and non-profit rebuilding organizations serving greater New Orleans. Volunteers at Olive Tree Village work under the supervision of experienced Project Homecoming construction managers and their long term volunteer assistants in Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes. Olive Tree houses 90 volunteers with full service facilities inside a former Presbyterian church, very close to most work sites. There are still hundreds of homeowners awaiting the blessings brought by volunteers and that wonderful moment of home dedication.
